Description

Salt and Fire is the latest work by highly acclaimed  Academy Award Nominee director WERNER HERZOG (Grizzly Man) including an all-star cast including MICHAEL SHANNON (Man of Steel, Nocturnal Animals, Boardwalk Empire), GAEL GARCIA BERNAL (Desierto, Y Tu Mamá También, Babel) and VERONICA FERRES (Pay the Ghost). When a renowned scientist is sent to Bolivia on an urgent mission to analyse a looming environmental catastrophe she along with her colleagues are deceived by a man claiming to be a member of the Ministry of Security and are kidnapped by a mysterious group of masked men. The prisoners are subsequently led down a path of discovery revealing the dark machinations of a global corporation responsible for an ever threatening ecological disaster; their only hope is to unravel the truth.
