Mary Queen of Scots is a young woman who, having grown up in France, finds a kindred spirit in her new country as a queen alone in a kingdom devastated by war. Providing stability for Scotland s future in the birth of her son, she is unable to find stability in her own heart, as a jealous love affair leads to treachery, tragedy and death. Spurned by the country that once embraced her, Mary finds herself trapped in a corner with no one left to trust.
This is a story about a queen, this is a story about a wife, but most of all this is a story about a woman, and the choices she ll make to protect her liberty, her love, and her life.
