Description

Collection of four action films set in recent war zones. 'Behind Enemy Lines' (2001) is inspired by the story of Scott O'Grady, the US fighter pilot who was shot down over Bosnia in 1995 and managed to find his way back to base without being captured. After photographing some Bosnian Serb troops hidden in a forest, Lieutenant Chris Burnett (Owen Wilson) and his co-pilot Stackhouse (Gabriel Macht) are shot down by an anti-aircraft missile. Stackhouse breaks his leg in the crash, and Burnett goes off to get help, but the Serbs soon locate Stackhouse and execute him. Burnett now finds himself alone in hostile country and sets out on the long and dangerous journey back to safety. Meanwhile, his commanding officer (Gene Hackman) - against all army and NATO rules - sets out on a mission to locate and rescue him. Bruce McGill, Keith David and Peter Coyote star in the sequel, 'Axis of Evil' (2006). North Korea is flexing its nuclear muscle, and it's up to a team of US Navy SEALs to prevent a catastrophe. Everything is going to plan, but when the mission is aborted after the troops have already deployed, four American soldiers are forced to fight for their lives deep in enemy territory. As the rebel forces close in on the stranded men, the battle heats up and the fate of the free world hangs in the balance. Joe Manganiello and WWE's Mr Kennedy star in the third film, 'Colombia' (2009). In the jungles of war-torn Colombia, a covert team of US Navy SEALs mount an attack on Colombian special forces in order to rescue a hostage and clear their own names after being framed for murder. In 'SEAL Team Eight' (2014) a group of SEALs stumble upon a plot to sell weapons grade uranium to terrorists while on the trail of a top secret mining operation in Africa. Recognising the severity of the threat this poses, the team take it upon themselves to foil the operation. However, with only 36 hours to do so, no outside help and a Congo warlord's well-equipped army standing in their way, this seems set to be their toughest mission yet.
