Paul Miller (Paul Rudd, 40 YEAR OLD VIRGIN, FRIENDS) has struggled as an actor in Hollywood for years and, having decided to commit suicide, hires a film crew to document his last two days. The director giving the job of filming Paul s suicide ponders whether he can allow Paul to die without trying to prevent it. Director and writer Sean McGinly takes a wry look at both the Hollywood film system and the complexities of making an independent film in this comedy drama. Paul Rudd puts in a skilful performance as his character assesses his life and searches for meaning and hope, while the characterisation of the other main players is excellent. Often ironic and darkly humorous, 2 DAYS is an entertaining and thought provoking indie black comedy.
